I want to write a macro to download historical financial data from Yahoo’s free financial site into Excel. My primary requirement is to do it in batch, i.e. a whole bunch of symbols (in a loop?) at the click of a button. I have used the QueryTable.Add method but the data loaded does not get treated as a CSV. Each line (date, open, high, low, close, volume, adj. close) is stored in a SINGLE cell instead of a row of cells. For some reason Excel does not recognize the comma delimiters. How do I fix this problem?
